About Sapphire Wood Studio
-
Shopkeeper Amanda Stephenson is a wood-builder with a teacher’s heart. After raising three boys, the long-time elementary art teacher bought a few new tools and fine-tuned her knack for creating one-of-a-kind home solutions to create Sapphire Wood Studio, serving Murfreesboro, Middle Tennessee and beyond.
-
We make wood art that works. Sapphire Wood Studio creates original home goods and custom signs, with an eye on tailoring to your personal tastes or needs. This means serving trays, charcuterie boards, mosaics, wedding and baby shower gifts, barn quilts and more.

I do! I spent most of 2024 experimenting with different resins to find one that won't dull the color of your flowers. Weddings, memorials and more — I'll have a page with options up soon but for now, if you're interested email me.

We call Middle Tennessee (Murfreesboro) home but do business across the United States. My husband and I grew up in Michigan, so we speak Midwest too!
-
Absolutely! I’ve done small projects like laser engraving to custom bookshelves and more. Signs (business and personal) are a specialty but I also spent hours trying t make the perfect engagement ring box.
-
Not really. I mean I can but it’s not my bread and butter and my studio isn’t large enough to do big pieces. However if you’re struggling with a custom idea, let me know.
-
Yes! We can take our epoxy resin class on the road to your home, business, brewery, church or wherever. It’s a great social event.
-
These always sell out but 2 new classes go on sale each month. The best way to find out about them first is to sign up for our email club.

Yes. Cedar Glade Brews is all ages but I’d not recommend this class for anyone younger than 13 years old.
